Healinggifts

I have come to luv my self-care Wednesdays.

Yesterday I had an amazing acupuncture session with my medicine woman Nancy. She reminded me that in many traditions the period for grief is symbolically one year.

I arrived home after spending the afternoon with Annie Two Moons, to find postal treasures from my nephew awesome nephew John and my friend Kathy.

John made a holiday donation in my name to this organization and Kathy sent me a Spirit Horse by

Thank you…my heart is FULL.

  1. Dear Sheri,
I just received your email and I am so sorry for the loss you are currently suffering. You are a strong spirit however, and will be alright…loss makes us look deeper into ourselves and our purpose in life, which ultimately makes us stronger and more aware of the experience of living. You sound like you are on the right path – growing and making refreshing changes that will breathe new life into your heart and soul. I would love to be a part of your new and growing web presence so please count me in…
Hugs and a Healthy, Happy and Wildly Creative New Year,

  3. Sheri,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I admire your strength to put everything on hold so that you could take care of what matters most. I still have your book sitting right here on my desk, your inspiration continues.
I am also very excited to hear about what is coming next!
    Blessings to you!

  4. Wow…ladies, I had no idea, really some days you feel as if your writing in oblivion. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You’ve helped me to realize a few things today…who is my audience…? What are they looking for? What are their needs at this time…please share with me.
    Much love,
    Sheri
Joan wanted me to post this for her.
    Hi, Sheri-
Caregiving is a gift, but an exhausting one. I’m currently off on a much needed couple of week vacation. We’ve been a team of caregivers for my dad for two years now, and I do two night a week with him and then work three days a week. Anything artistic is on top of that. I’m a fiber person, teacher, and co-founder of a folk art school. This is my “comment” to join your blog, as your book has been an inspiration. I’ll look more at the site when I get back, but the blackberrt view is limited. Best wishes for a great year! Joan Q.

  5. Hi Sheri:
I’m so happy to hear that you took the time you needed with your family — and are now taking the time you need to get back into your creative expression. Sounds like there are some very exciting things to look forward to! 🙂
I too have had a crazy year and just now feel like things are getting back on track. First thing I put aside was my artistic outlet (big mistake), yet I’m happy to say that it’s now taking a priority in my life and I am enjoying getting back into it and reacquainting myself.
I look forward to all your communications in the future 🙂
    Sincerely,
    Rhonda
